Earlier today, my wife, Linda—the writer—challenged me to something of a family duel: She will blog every day during the month of September if I will create a new photo each day. Because I know I’ve been in a rut during most of the summer, and because I am almost ALWAYS up for a challenge, I agreed.
Naturally, however, I also let it slip my mind until it was rather late, so today’s inaugural entry in the Margison Family Picture/Blog of the Day Challenge is this rather uncreative (and very high ISO/shallow DoF) image of our chickens.
Actually, the chickens belong to our older son, Tyler, who has been working at a feed store down the street and falls in love with almost every creature that he sees, be it dog, cat or, yes, chicken.
I think he may have named them, but I don’t recall what their names are. As a result, I refer to them as Little and Nugget.
